Don Terrell was one of the first builders in the United States to be certified as a Graduate Master Builder by the National Home Builders Association. He has built hundreds of homes since 1990 and has become an advocate for energy efficiency.

Don provides a depth of knowledge and decades of experience with new technological advances in homebuilding. These new techniques embody proven principles of energy efficiency and healthy home construction.

As a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS), Don can modify most houses to accommodate the special needs and the elderly.

After graduating from Indiana State University, Don became active in real estate, receiving his license in 1982. He became President of Accent Remodeling, Inc., in 1985, and founded Accent Country Homes in 1995, later named as Accent Custom Homes.

Don passed down his passion for construction to his sons, Jared and Damon. Jared and Damon lead a reputable residential and commercial inspection business in East Texas called National Property Inspections. They perform home inspections in East Texas with the highest standards.
